Documented change

New shoes, standing next to the old ones

At a November 2024 distribution, pupils stood in their new school shoes with their old pairs on the floor beside them — taped-together soles, broken straps, shoes shared between siblings.

Behind the numbers

Thandeka's journey to Form V

OGKCO has committed to covering Thandeka's Form V school fees in 2026, enabling her to complete secondary education. Long-term commitments like this see students all the way through to graduation.

Long-term support

Back to school after four years

27 children returned to school after up to four years out of education due to unpaid fees. With ongoing support, they now attend regularly and continue their education.

Educational continuity

120 uniforms, 120 children

Each of the 120 uniforms distributed removed a real barrier — children who were being sent home, or too ashamed to attend, now walk into class with confidence.

Material support

Specialised care for children with disabilities

34+ beneficiaries with disabilities receive medical care, educational accommodations and family support — so that disability never means exclusion from education.
